In February 2013, CARES
started releasing Version 5.0 of the CARES Standard Operations Procedures. This revision includes
several changes and additions to how CARES will respond
during a disaster, and incorporates its field
Communications Manual into the response process.
The SOP is divided into Seven Parts with supporting details listed in sections. All parts are available for viewing or download here (right-click on a file name, then "Save Target As..." to select a location on your computer). For an overview, see a summary of each Part here:
