Introduction

Ensuring a repeatable process is critical to ensure a successful activation and field deployment. Skills are maintained by practice and drills, and ensuring that the response process is understood, consistent, and repeatable. This section describes the various documents that support this objective.

Emergency Operations Plan, June 2019

The City of Cupertino Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) is an all-hazards document describing the City incident management organization, compliance with relevant legal statutes, other relevant guidelines, whole community engagement, continuity of government focus, and critical components of the incident management structure.


Volunteer Management Annex,

The EOP Volunteer Management Annex describes the coordinating processes used to ensure the most efficient and effective utilization of affiliated and unaffiliated volunteers during a disaster.

CARES Task List, Sep 2023

This document guides the selection of tasks that CARES will employ to meet the objectives defined in the Incident Action Plan when an activation occurs.
